We’re excited to share some big news—Cunningham AC, Heating, LP Gas & Propane was recently featured in a wonderful write-up by our local newspaper celebrating our rich history, community involvement, and continued growth as a fourth- and fifth-generation family-owned business.
From humble beginnings as a small oil company in 1928, founded by Ucal Cunningham, to becoming one of Volusia and Flagler County’s most trusted names in air conditioning, heating, and LP gas, our story is one built on hard work, strong values, and an unwavering commitment to customer care.
Today, under the leadership of Stacy Cunningham Welch—great-granddaughter of our founder—we’re proud to still be a family-run business, now welcoming the fifth generation into the fold. Stacy’s daughter, Natalee, and son, Ryals, are already helping move the business forward with new energy and ideas, keeping the Cunningham tradition alive and thriving.
The article highlights not only our service offerings—from AC repair and replacements to LP gas, tankless water heaters, pool and spa heaters, whole home generators, and even our Daytona Gas and Grills retail store—but also our deep roots in the community. From long-time employees (some with over 40 years of service!) to decades of civic involvement, we’re proud to be part of what makes our community strong.
As we look toward our 100th anniversary, we’re already planning celebrations across Holly Hill, Daytona Beach, and Ormond Beach. We wouldn’t be here without you—our loyal customers, neighbors, and friends—and we’re so grateful for your continued support.
